Rain Storm Here

June 28, 2008 / by bluegrasslady

A rain storm blew up late this afternoon, looked kinda wicked here for awhile, don't know if it is through yet. We got a good amount of rain, and we sure needed it. Jennifer and  Scott were going to come up this afternoon but Jenn's asthma was kicking up, probably because of pressure of storm. I didn't have a good night last night but  am better now. It has been so very hot here but is 73 right now, feels mighty good. I have been having to stay in the house with the temperature  same all time to keep humidity down. I was going to get out awhile this afternoon. I need to get out awhile. I don't want another bout of pneumonia ever, though. I go in to the Doctor ,Monday for a checkup. Hope everyone is having a good night.<Hazel

We've been getting regular evening rain storms, too, some of them humdinger thunderstorms, with the summer heat and humidity. Best to stay out of the heat and humidity however you can. Take best care.

I hope the rain clears the air so that you and Jenn's asthma stabilizes. Hope you get a good report from your doctor. We are having 110+ days, running the air conditioner continuously. Rain is in the forecast, but I won't hold my breath out here in the desert!

The rain didn't clear the air, we had an orange ozone day today. It was 102 here yesterday, not sure about today but was hot. Guess its hot about evertwhere. Thanks Elliott for thinking of Jenn and I, we appreciate it.
